We introduced "classroom responsibilities" last week and completed a chart that will keep us on track with the weekly rotation of jobs. The jobs are: teacher's assistant + time watcher, nurturer, lead janitor, crossing guard, sweeper, and waiter / waitress. So far, the children are doing a great job. The idea behind this exercise is not only to instill a sense of responsibility and empowerment, but it is also a practice in leadership skills and a way of demonstrating that everybody has something unique to offer our community.

We've also been having brainstorm sections about respect, hopefully we'll come to a signed agreement this coming week.
